Glass work Handbuilt torch work, Groups, Blown forms and centrofuge.
I studied glass blowing for 3 years working on large installations and bulky sculptures which I loved, so after uni I wasnt too keen on giving up the furnace and blowing studio, but I have done my best to keep my hand trained - granted it is a much smaller scale of work as I use a blowtorch to lampwork and my small kiln for fusing, but hopefully you'll se that what i do manage to make is still very much me.

Above: Part of the glass component of my final degree show. 2006. Glass bursts sat ontop of one another.

Above: A university i studied under famous international glass artist Stewart Garfoot. Famed for his centrofuged glass. Here is a centrofuge that i made under his tuition following a recearch trip to birmingham sea life center choosing to look at bubbles rising in water as my inspiration.
